What a great Meetup on Sunday! We got lucky with the weather again an awesome turn out. There were 50 confirmed Shibas but I think there may have been even more that just forgot to sign-in at the registration table. We had 11 first timers at the Meetup, I hope you had fun and enjoyed yourselves!

The date has been set for the next Meetup: SUNDAY, April 25th from 12pm-2pm in the off-leash area at David Gray Park in Burnaby – McKay Avenue and Rumble Street. The event will be held rain or shine so dress accordingly. Please follow the link below for the location and maps of the park. Click on the Shiba icon on the first map, and it will give you directions to the park. Parking is available on McKay Avenue, on either side of the street. There is an entrance to the dog park right on McKay Avenue

I’d like to thank everyone who braved the weather last Sunday to attend the first Meetup of 2010. I’d have to say we were pretty fortunate that it only rained for about 5-10 minutes at the end of the meet. We’ve only had one Meetup that was rained out in the 2+ years I’ve been organizing the meets. A big welcome to the 13 new members that attended their first meet, I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and your Shibas had a good time too! The attendance for the March Meetup was around 45+ Shibas.
